Ficlet: Even The Best Sometimes Forget
I wasn’t going to write, but I couldn’t not. For Klaine Week, Day 4 - Anniversary. PG, 1,100~ words, probably cavity inducing.
They almost forget their anniversary.
Not on purpose, of course. It’s just after everything that’s happened lately, they both agree something nice and low key is the way to go. Blaine makes reservations for the following Saturday at a decidedly non-Breadstix establishment, which gives them an excuse to get dressed up and skip to the next town over, and not get bogged down with New Directions and McKinley High drama for just one night.
(This is by no means a reflection of their excitement over the event. Ever since Valentine’s Day, it’s been a running current between them, a murmur of I can’t believe it’s been a year and I love you even more and I didn’t think that was possible.)
(luckily, I wrote a shitton on tuesday night before I got sick. part 9 is done too, so it’ll be posted soon-ish even if I continue to feel like crap.)
